Hi, posting this few threads. We are desperately looking for private psychiatrist for our 14 yo, with complex difficulties , he has diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, but have been waiting on CAHMS waiting list for last one year. His difficulties have transpired so none of our strategies (including NVR) seem to work at all. He is finding it incredibly difficult to manage himself - even at home which is his refuge. Controllable anger, extreme rigidity, he flies off the wall at the smallest reason, cant stand any one in the family. The words he is using to describe the issues are very concerning, but CAHMS are making us wait. Have decided to take it to private - looking for any recommendation for psychiatrists who can help him , anyone who has worked with adolescents, ASD would be great. many thanks
