Thankyou, good food for thought. She is doing some therapy and we have noticed that she is replacing screens with making cakes, drawing, going out. Yesterday we spent the day in central London, popping into shops and eating at a restaurant, 3 months ago she had agoraphobia. She stills complains of feeling tired and seems to have strange pains that develop in different parts of her body, anxiety I assume. I would like to increase the Fluoxetine to 30mg.It is only 6 months since her breakdown...

You are doing really well for only 6 months in.

@Sonoio How has the Christmas break gone for you?

Up and down ,but definitive she turned a corner. 7 months in and she is more active and spends less time on screens. Better at managing her emotions. Still not able to go to school, but ok with home tuition and wants to return to an art club she used to attend. How is your daughter?

For DD it feels like we're not making much progress because what she does outside of college hasn't changed. However she is generally managing college better than last year so there is an improvement really.

Gosh, I know,it can feel v slow at times. The key fir me is to accept the slowness, but also to do some pushing. We switch the internet off at key moments of the day now, she was so angry about it, but she is now doing other things now instead, and I can tell she is proud of herself and that that she can see she will rejoin the real world at some point.

I know someone whose daughter diagnosed with ADD is functioning well - on Fluoxetine and ritanil . Took a while to get the dosage right
