I’m in my final year of Place2Be’s Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling Children in Schools. Place2Be is a children’s charity which provides emotional support to children in schools across the UK.

As part of my training, I’m required to carry out a series of 10 observations of a baby interacting with their carer. The aim is to learn about child development through observing the early months of a child’s life. Each observation lasts an hour and takes place in the child’s home, at a regular time every two weeks. Many parents find the process of having their baby observed to be very rewarding.

I’m hoping to start the observations by the end of September. The baby will ideally be under 8 months at the time of starting.

Confidentiality will be maintained and the identity of the child or family will not be revealed in any coursework. I am DBS checked and live in Chiswick, West London.

If you live in West London and are interested in taking part, or would like to find out more, I’d love to hear from you:

Thank you for your interest!
