my dd is so angry with everything ( esp me and her dad and brother) at the mo. she talks to us so rudely, swears, shouts, is falling out with friends at school, and doesnt want to open up/talk about things. her periods have just started and im assuming its all ' normal' but how do you help, and how do you know when things have got beyond the normal levels of mood swings?

Mine was impossible at the age for parts of the month and then would be lovely again. Acupuncture was a great help

oh thats interesting, never thought of acupuncture. she gets bad migraines, wonder whether it would help those? how did she cope with the needles?!

The reason I took her was actually for crippling headaches, but it turned out they were all part of her hormone imbalance. My dd hated the needles as she already had a needle phobia so she refused to go back, but even so there was a huge and permanent improvement in her condition. It we had continued with the treatment it would have been the end of period pains, etc.
