Alternative therapies?

Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with alternative therapies for helping teenage dc with anxiety / depression? We are on a 18 month CAMHS waiting list and getting desperate..

My daughter is with CAMHS, has been for 6 months and we're still no further forward. She self harms, is reported missing and is a regular at a&e for suicidal thoughts.
I'm not sure about alternative therapies, for some people exercise helps massively, it doesn't work for my daughter unfortunately but could be worth a go.
How old is your dc?

Thanks for replying, my dc aged 16 is very similar. I was thinking of trying a herbalist?

DD had equine assisted therapy.
Which is counselling in a field of horses.
That helped her, but it leveraged her love of animals.
We also say a private psychiatrist for anti depressants which was a game changer. Pricey but worth it.
