Irrational Fears?!

When I was a kid I was really afraid of escalators - anyone else ever had an unusual, irrational fear or phobia?

My son has a fear of loud noises giant things and clouds

My daughter was loud noises too

My phobia is sponge!! (as in an actual sponge not a cake). In not scared of it in the sense I cry or run away, but i can't touch it without rubber gloves or it makes me wretch. I just can't bare the texture of it 🤣
