I'm worried about my DD

My DD is almost 13 and I'm worried as she doesnt seem to display the same behaviours as other children. Some of the things she does is:
-Randomly start jumping about (flapping her arms and shaking her head) without warning.
-Jerks her head and shoulders at random times.
-Is sometimes very social at some times and very withdrawn at other times.
-Gets angry when she doesn't win at her computer games instead of just carrying on.
-Pulls her hair out (this doesn't happen often and she doesnt pull a lot out).
-Fidgety.
-Has no concept of danger and doesn't think about the consequences of her actions.
I think I should also add that she is very clever and doesn't particularly struggle academically, although she lacks motivation and doesn't commit to anything.
Is it possible that she might have a mental disorder?

Is it possible that she's 'stimming' - making movements in order to regulate her emotions. This is common in autism. Or are the movements more like tics?

I would look up autism in girls, OP; you might find that her behaviour's consistent with some of the things they list.

It is possible, these aren't uncommon symptoms and may be signs of her being somewhere on the autistic spectrum. I think you should go see your GP.
