I'm so confused about this rule of 6! I'm single with 5 kids and I allowed my parents over as they in my support bubble but the kids not allowed friends over?
That's my take on it but where ever I read stuff it's conflicting advice.

I have four kids and dh. My take on it is that we cant anyone at all if we are together.

Going to be a weird Christmas! If I go to see my mum, at least one kid will be left at home alone. Thank God the eldest is 16 now I guess

Children under the age of 12 aren't counted in the six, I believe.

They are in England

That's right. If all of the children are home nobody else can visit except your parents.

Yes you can have a support bubble as you are a single parent even though it takes you over 6.
