my daughter had just finished her intensive counselling at Cahms for mainly self harming plus anxiety and not eating properly. She was discharged 2 weeks ago. Her counsellor felt she is happier and she is to carry on improving her confidence as it was rock bottom. Now I've just found suicide notes for everyone in the family, her two best friends and her boyfriend. 😢

My heart had stopped!

My stomach got a massive knot in it and I don't know why she is suicidal. She has had a good childhood. We've been skint but the past 3 yrs it is slowly getting better. We've been on time with our mortgage now. etc.

There had been two suicide on my side of the family.. First one was my mums twin, my aunty, died before my daughter was born. then my aunty's son died a few years later. my daughter never met him.

is it possible that the suicide feel be heteridary? or she can be suicidal for no reason? that prob sounds daft.

My daughter is going to be tested for Asd that was suggested by her counsellor, cos she struggle with eye contact with her and to make new friends.

Are you sure the notes are new? It sounds like things are improving for her so could they have been there a while? Either way you need to stay as calm as you can and speak to her about how she is feeling.

it dated last week.

i will talk to her when her dad comes home.

we were saying she is must happier now....but is she??
i don't even know why she feels suicidal!! she wont tell us, she doesnt know why either. she had a hormone tested a while ago and came back all ok. she was supposed to have another one but the lockdown came into effect.. both were requested by her counsellor.

I wish i could claimb inside her head and see whats going on.

Have you managed to speak to your DD? These things can end up 'taboo' so if you can calmly ask her if she's been considering suicide she may be able to open up.

How’s everything going op?
Your last line really resonated with me. Oh how I wish I could look inside her head! Flowers
