DD8 has told me she has to do things 3 times and she doesn't like it. Such as writting a number or tapping something. She said it had been going on for a while.

She is a happy carefree child but has been getting more touchy and have attitude recently. I put this down to lockdown and maybe hormones.

Do I just watcg and wait?

No - speak to the doctor. My children’s OCD started around 8. Therapist said it’s the age children realise they are part of a bigger world so their anxiety kicks in. I really recommend you insist on sorting this now - she is having intrusive thoughts. I sorted for my son at 8 but my daughter was not as bad and when she pushed back on therapy at the time I let it slide. But now as teens my son is ok but my daughter really struggles and it’s much harder to work through it at this age.
