When to call CAMHs crisis team

I am getting nowhere with CAMHs.

Ds has 4 of his sessions before lockdown. They said it didn’t work and he needs something else. Since then heard nothing. I’ve rang switchboard and they said they’d ring back but didn’t. Rang number on answer phone and left message. Nothing. Emailed. Nothing. Ds saying he hates life and wishes he had cancer so he could die. Sitting looking at wall past 2 days. Spiralling down.

Am I being over dramatic if I ring crisis number?

I don't think it would be overdramatic. The staring at the wall and wanting to die is very concerning. Also surprised at them just saying point blank it didn't work and leaving it at that without any further referrals or suggestions. Hopefully your DS feels better soon, must be so difficult for you too.
