Assessments during Lockdown

We have a telephone assessment scheduled for next week for our 7 year old for ADHD.

Will these assessments still be happening? We were referred in July last year so really need it. I would understand if it can't but equally would be devastated.

I work in a community MH team. We are trying to do as much as we can over the phone, including assessments. Hope you find this is the same where you are.

Thanks for the reply! We did get the telephone assessment and it was really helpful.

Unfortunately nothing can be done till face to face assessments can next be done, and was informed it would be 3-4 months after schools open again. Frustrating but completely understandable.

Why is it understandable? The R is under 1. Very few NHS staff have died relative to the rest of the population and a 2 metre distance should be possible. Why can't non acute NHS services operate?
