How long for treatment/ resection after CAMHS assessment for anxiety/ OCD

Really need some idea of a time frame.

Hi, we saw CAMHS for the first time last night at a drop in session (we had to go there before referral) my dd was referred from the GP about 3 or 4 weeks ago for severe anxiety and self harm. She has been referred to group therapy sessions starting in March and individual counselling but not until May because of waiting lists.

This does really worry me as she has GCSE’s this year and exams are a real flash point for her so I am also looking at private counselling in the meantime.
