Help teenage son 16 with GCSEs looming struggling with OCD. How do I find a good counsellor/ therapist?

I would start by calling Young Minds parent line. Then I would look for cbt psychotherapists who have experience with ocd. Also visit the GP - could low dose antidepressants help in combination?

I'd get a clinical Psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology! Look on the BPS website

In the mean time get hold of Breaking Free from OCD. I recommend this to all my patient's parents where OCD is the main issue
