hi thanks for looking firstly, and thanks in advance for any insight, advice or tips! and sorry its a bit long!

ok, a little backstory around 2.5 years ago DSS (then lived with his mum) was diagnosed with ADHD (camhs) MY DH and I didn't really think he fully had ADHD more borderline and possibly ADD instead, because DSS chose to be naughty for his mum and was an angel for us, but neither of us are doctors.....

fast-forward to present day he has lived with us for 1.5 years, again still thought he was more borderline ADHD, he does display many signs and symptoms, over the last 6 months these behaviours have worsened, after doing some research DH thought this sounds a bit more like DS, so we put it to his mum and she agreed.

but again none of us are doctors so off we went to gp this morning at 10;30 explained maybe he had a misdiagnosis could it be ODD and can we be referred back to camhs, yep no problem ill do the referral letter this afternoon, Great thanks doc! at 3pm GP calls me and says he went through DSS notes from camhs and he does indeed have a diagnosis of ODD alongside ADHD.

so basically all i posted for was some advice off parents who have children with odd,
thank you
