Hi ... anyone using Elvanse.... my 15yo DD just diagnosed with ADHD

Hi all... my Daughters just started taking it ... and is seriously excited that there might be an answer to the brain fog she's been struggling with for three years... diagnosed just a week ago with ADHD, after series of tests and investigations...

Love to know of anyone's experiences with it? Impact... side effects... etc

Feel we are entering a whole new world

Hi Loveyour, my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD-PI privately at 16 and is now 18. We have gone through several different meds and she is currently taking Elvanse. They have all helped to some extent but not been the miracle we had hoped for; we STILL have huge backlogs of unfinished work and major procrastination. She is supposed to be receiving counselling support at some point but this has yet to materialise, probably because we are now with the NHS so there's no funding. So glad we did it though.

Hi.... major procrastination and backlog of work... wow did those words chime... midst GCSE year and she is so behind with her Art which she adores... now trying to work out how best to support her in revising for her Mocks....

Any tips and thoughts more than gratefully received.

Elvanse - we're up to 60mg a day - but difficult to know if this is the right dose or worth trying a higher one... DD finds it difficult to work out how long it lasts althgouh she does notice when it kicks in... and subject it seems to have helped the most with is Maths .. something about the clarity of thought?
