Initial Assessment at MH Unit

My DD (14) has an initial assessment at an adolescent MH unit tomorrow morning. She was admitted to hospital last THursday where she has been since, after 2 yrs of MH problems (anxiety disorder, self harm). She has been in the camhs 'system' for nearly 18 months. We have no idea what to expect. We have been told nothing (except the time). Any insights as to what will happen, who will be, there, etc, will be really helpful.

Thinking of you. My DC had similar issues at that age. We were lucky to have health insurance that covered private counselling. DC recovered with only talking therapies (a lot of them!). Good luck, hope it goes well
