Does the nausea side effect of fluoxetine continue?

I know nausea is a common side effect but my question is whether it continues. My DS started taking it a week ago and seems to have some nausea today, I am assuming related, but may not be. Just keen to hear if it subsides? Many thanks.

yes it does subside, thankfully. In the mean time i found eating small regular amounts helped. something like a rich tea biscuit.

How old is your ds?

Thank you for that Theoriginal, it's good to know it will pass. He is only fourteen and started on a very low dose for a week that has just been doubled (although still low).
