Kids books on depression and suicide

DD (7) and DS (5) have been asking a lot of questions about my DF who committed suicide after a bout of severe depression. I've been pretty open with them while trying to keep it age appropriate.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good book that would help them understand depression a little? thanks.

Best book I've found on death is The Sad Book by Michael Rosen - not specific to suicide but may help with feelings?

There's also Otis Doesn't Scracth by Clare Shaw but that's mainly on self harm rather than suicide - might be worth a look to adapt though?

The charity Winston's Wish supports children bereaved by suicide and their carers. They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to talking to children about death and the feelings surrounding a loss. I suggest giving their helpline a ring. You can find the number on their website. They will be able to recommend books and resources as well as other ways that you can help your DC's make sense of this difficult situation.

On amazon "can I catch it like a cold " you might need to change the ending. ..
