School trip & social anxiety

At the begining of Sept we agreed to allow Dd to go on a school trip to Paris. However since then she had developed social anxiety, depression and is being assessed for Aspergers.

Obviously some of these issues were already present but a fall out with her Best friend has left her completely isolated and brought things to a crisis.

She really wants to go but should i let her?

how old is she and do you trust the school to take total care of her socially etc?

She is about to turn 15. I don't think the school get it. If she had a diagnosis I would ( i think) have a much stronger position for support.

In a lot if ways she is very bright, independent etc has been to Paris a few times and would not be daunted by it but with her peers she is almost mute Sad

But she wants to go. And I say that as the parent of a DD who is selectively mute. I think you need to let her go...
