Just wondered how long your waiting lists are? Took about five months for one child to be seen and another eight months for an appointment. Now waiting for second child and referral before Christmas, still waiting.

It took us about six months from refererral to being seen.

In our case I would guess that it was classed as non urgent, in the sense that whilst the problem does have a day to day impact on my daughter's life, and needs to be dealt with, there is no issue with self harm or anything more urgent like that.

Here, they do tend to be triaged - so not necessarily seen in order of referral, but urgency of need.
That said, the vast majority seem to be turned down 'signposted elsewhere'

Okay interesting thank you. I'm just concerned that ds will get worse and harder to resolve if we have a similar wait.
