I have a rising 2yo DS with my now ex, who is just the loveliest child imaginable.
Since we broke up at the beginning of the year I have been thinking through my plan B, as I really want a 2nd child.
Plan A is to obviously hit the jackpot; meet a lovely man, get married and have another.
However - if that does not happen I was thinking about having another with a sperm donor.
Would that be unfair or damaging to number two? Would seeing DS spend time with his father yet not have a father of their own, be too much?
Obviously I would hope to eventually meet someone who would be a father figure, but that might not happen.
I would not want to be the cause of a lifetime of unhappiness to someone.
