Child in need meeting!!???

My daughters social worker rang up and said that we would be having a child in need meeting. I have no idea what happens at the meeting. Does anyone know!!??? Also does anyone know how often they are?

I don't know if I'm too late but it's a meeting in which they will look at plan that is in place and if it's being followed and keeping your child safe. There will be a social worker there, school nurse, teacher from school and any counsellor or other people involved with her. Everyone will give an update on their involvement and how the child has been. They should be held every 3 months. I hope this helps.

Ask your sw for it in writing what the purpose of the meeting is.
