I've used mumsnet for years now and have found this site extremely helpful, especially in making me realise that the difficulties I encounter as mum to Max, 3, are not exclusive to just us.

I also work for mental health charity, Anxiety UK, and we are holding a web-chat on Wednesday, 9th May from 7-9pm about children and anxiety. Anxiety in children can be particularly difficult and we will have 2 experts on hand to provide advice.

The chat is free to Anxiety UK members, £5 to non-members. To find out more details, visit www.anxietyuk.org.uk.

I hope this will provide useful advice and support to anyone who is struggling with an anxious child.

See you there!
