Do secondary schools in the UK have counselors? Our school has a Pastoral Care Manager but she doesn't seem to be able to help with our problems. I've already requested a referral to CAHMS fom the GP but it is going to take far too long. We need some help now.
Anyway, I'm trying to find out whether there are any other options in the short term or whether we should try to find some help privately.
