Impacted Crops! Only had them 2 weeks :(

My three have impacted crops since yesterday... have been eating drinking and poohing

I have now removed food and done massages...

Anything else I can do except wait?

No @OneEpisode, not suggesting that using Diatomaceous Earth will cause a chicken to explode! It is inert, but it IS used in the manufacture of dynamite, so, unless your chickens have also been consuming nitroglycerine, there is nothing to worry about

Hopefully DH hasn’t been mixing nitroglycerin in the feed too..

@NeedAUserNameAllTaken - agreed, a chicken savvy vet would be the ideal, but try finding one. A real rara avis. About as rare as...well, dare I say it, hens teeth

Yup, I've done it a few times. Tbh I can't say 100% as I think I mistook a chicken being an absolute pig and stuffing her face on waking for a blocked crop, so I don't know 100% but whoever advised me seemed to swear by it.
Yes chicken savvy vets are hard to find. If you go on omlet there's lists on there and you may find someone local to you who knows of one. If you are in the country side or near you'll have more luck as there's more chooks around.
