Suggestions for where to buy a coop?

Hi all!

I am very keen to get some chickens, and want to know if anyone has any suggestions on where is best to get a chicken coop from. I've looked on ebay etc but there seem so many!

I'm keen to avoid anything with roof felt (red mite paradise - or is it?).

We're hoping to get 3 or 4 birds and see how it goes. Any suggestions at all would be gratefully received.

I've read up on it and am hoping it's all fairly straightforward Grin

We got ours from Flyte so fancy and it's great!

Another Flyte so Fancy here - long legged Maggie six house. It's great but not cheap.

Thanks for the thoughts so far. I had a look at that website. OMG! Some of those prices are incredible. The gypsy wagon one at £3900 almost made me fall off my chair Grin

I'm looking for something at the less expensive end. More googling I think!

Yes, I'd quite like one of the gypsy wagon ones just for me never mind for chickens...

If you want to look for cheaper options then you'd be better off looking somewhere you can actually see them to check on quality. I'd suggest countryside shops like Scats or similar if you have any near; some large garden centres may also do them. Or, if you have somewhere near you that sells POL birds sometimes they'll have some coops that you can look at and fiddle with before you commit. Gives you a chance to look at how they open, how easy to clean out they'd, plus how'd they actually look (which is important if its going to be in your garden!).
