Online Focus Group and Questionnaire Opportunities: Closes Friday 17th July 2026

Action for Stammering Children (ASC) is the UK charity for children and young people who stammer, their families and the communities who support them.

Here at ASC we are developing an Early Years Toolkit to help nurseries, pre-schools, childminders, family hubs and health visitors in supporting children aged 2-5 who stammer.

To help us shape the Toolkit's content, we would like to hear directly from parents and carers about their own experiences.

What's involved?
To share their experiences and views, we are inviting parents/carers to take part in either of the following:

• Online focus group: a relaxed 40-minute conversation with other parents and carers, held on Microsoft Teams on the evening of Tuesday 21st of July.
• Written questionnaire: prefer to share in your own time? We’ll email you the same questions to complete by Monday 20th of July.

Your voice, your pace: there are no right or wrong answers, and you can share as much or as little as you like.

Who can take part?
Any parent or carer of a child who stammers or has stammered, whether your child is 2–5 now or experienced stammering during those early years and is now a bit older. You don’t need a diagnosis or to be seeing a speech and language therapist.
