Hey all!
Has anyone had to get the Ombudsman involved with the Pure Tech Engine failure?
We bought our car in Dec 2025 & the wet belt according to Peugeot Manufacturer's should have been replaced in 2024 (before we owned it) This wasnt done.
Now the car has had a massive engine failure, pcv valve has gone, leaking oil, misfiring etc etc. All tne problems associated with the Pure Tech Engine. We have only had the car 8 months, but the finance company have advised we pay £225 a Scotia Engineers Report to see & report if they believe damage had a already started to the wet belt before we had purchased the car.
Already £1000 out of pocket & not sure we will get anything back, and also face cost of repairs ourselves 😪
Can anyone advise please xxx
