Is it worth getting your car sign-written for a small business?

I’ve been thinking about whether vehicle signage is actually worth the cost for a small business or if it’s just an added expense that doesn’t really pay back.
I see a lot of mixed opinions online – some say it’s great marketing, others say it doesn’t make much difference anymore.
