Hello, I don't know one end of a car from the other but am looking to learn to drive thus summer. What is the best way to study the theory? Is there an app anyone would recommend or is a good old-fashioned book better and if so, which one, please?
Many thanks.

The driving theory test 4 in one app. I passed both tests last year and only used the on recommendation from my instructor. I think from memory it was £4.99 but worth every penny. I just repeated the questions on the quiz again and again until I could answer them all. It also has the hazard perception test practise in there too which forms part of the theory.

I always recommend the 4 in 1 app. I've also heard good things about the James May app as well but ive not used either. (I'm a driving instructor)

Thank you @BitterIwasntfurloughed and @Dinosuarlady2026
Is this (see photo) the 4 in 1 app you're both referring to?

My son and a lot of his friends used the James May app, said it was good (he passed the test easily enough)
