Anyone know about newish Vauxhall Corsas? Help!

Please help - I've just got a new Vauxhall Corsa (GS, 2025 if it helps) and it's a lease car so they basically just delivered it this morning, had me sign and left.

I'm reading through the manual online but the alarm has been already going off (only street parking here so every car going past was setting it off). I managed to follow the instructions to turn off the 'monitoring passenger compartment' thing and it seems to have stopped it going off but I don't really understand how it all works so I'm worried next time I use it it will keep going off again and I won't know what I'm doing.

I can see the instructions in the manual but I don't really understand what they're talking about. Please can someone explain basically how the alarm system works and how to make sure it doesn't go off with passing cars please so I get it?

Sorry, I know it's basic 'read the manual' stuff but I have auDHD diagnosis and find it difficult if I don't understand the concept - like you might be able to follow the instructions for a hammer and for a screwdriver but if you don't know what each one is ultimately for it's very confusing!

It’s either a fly insure the car flying past the sensors inside and triggering them as they think it’s a burglar.

or it’s the alarm sensitivity that feels the wind or vibration from other cars passing by and thinks someone is trying to break in.

work out which it is and get any flies out and look for a dial or button on the dashboard somewhere and see if you can turn the sensitivity down. Turn it to the left probably to reduce sensitivity.

what does the guidance tell you to do?

Inside. Not Insure.
