Can we return car purchased from dealership two days ago?

A few days ago, we bought a 3 year old car from an approved dealership. We've noticed that one of the wing mirrors is catching and not closing properly. It seems to be a recognised fault with these cars. Dealership say we can claim on the warranty that came with the car and runs for a further 2 years. However, if we chose to, could we choose to reject the car instead since we are in the first 30 days of ownership? Its not a major fault but we are having some wobbles about the car and having to claim on the warranty a few days after buying it, isn't instilling confidence.

I was talking to a car dealer at a party and he was bemoaning the fact that so many people buy a vehicle and then return it after a few days. Apparently he has to take them back, I was surprised to hear this but there you go.

Unlikely for such a minor fault. If it’s not preventing the car from doing its job then a small fix is usually the easiest course of action.

A 3 year old car is never going to be perfect and it’s probably a very easy fix
pop back in to the dealership with the car and they may even have someone on site who could take a quick look at it
