My daughter has recently passed her driving test. She will be at home in Scotland for 8 weeks before starting a job in southern England which she will need to drive for. Ideally she could buy a car now and build her confidence before starting the job. However neither she nor I can see her being ready to drive 500 miles in a few weeks, so she is planning to wait and buy a car after moving. My question is, are there any legit, reputable companies that move cars long distances? The ones I've come across online seem to have terrible write-ups, gig economy scammy, dodgy.
I don't drive due to epilepsy.
Thaks for any suggestions.

There are but it won’t be cheap if they’re reputable rather than the £20 merchants
is there any reason why your daughter can’t drive it ? She’ll have to do it some time may as well practice now
failing that is there any family/friends who could drive it down there and you pay for the ticket to get them back ?

Anyvan.com do car transport. Delivered my new car a few years ago.

I don't know of anyone that does that but if someone else does could you compare the cost of the transport to her splitting the journey up into 2 or three days and staying overnight in a hotel
