Problems connecting phone to screen (Citroen Berlingo 2019)

Charlie2023 · 28/05/2025 13:49

I have recently bought a second hand Citroen Berlingo. Everything is great except I'm having trouble successfully mirroring my Samsung android phone to the car screen. It sort of works but is slow and the screen isn't interactive.
I have tried:

  • changing usb cable
  • updating the car's software at a Citroen garage
  • swearing
Two helpful people have successfully paired their iphones instantly (just to rub salt into the wound). Any advice out there, other than change to an iphone myself (which I'd rather not do as mid contract)?

Have you downloaded the Android Auto app?

Charlie2023 · 28/05/2025 16:35

Yes, although apparently it is already built into all androids? The phone shows it is connected and it sort of works but not as it should and there is a time lag on the maps. The citroen dealer just looked puzzled and didn't have any ideas to suggest so I am open to any and all suggestions!😀

How old is your phone OP?

Try a wireless adapter, £40 on amazon. Might just coax the system into life.

Thanks both, some great advice. I've had a look around and it does seem to be quite a common issue. I'll look into the the wireless adapter too!

Can someone link to the wireless adaptor? I'm having similar issues with my peugeout and Samsung. Thanks!

Go on amazon and type "wireless Android Auto", dozens will come up. Don't pay over £60 though.
