Help me find a fabulous SUV

Looking to buy a new car, recently retired and need something practical, but also with a luxury feel looking at used 23/24 plate. Budget up to 35k for something fab. Thought we wanted a VW Tiguan, been to look at one and very underwhelmed, awful seat fabric, manual boot , so disappointed. Also looked at Volvo xc40 but don't like the plastic trim under the doors. Anyone any suggestions?

I have a brand new Volvo XC40 picked up a few weeks ago
I got the ultra black edition and it’s fab
so much space and it’s really comfortable to drive

its the top of the range for xc40 model so yes got all the extras on it

Ive previously had new BMW1 and my most recent car was an X2

the Volvo beats them both for space and drive

I actually feel quite grown up driving it 😂

Electric?
we have the 2022 vw id4 pro and it’s great. We have leather seats, electric seats and boot. It’s basically the Tiguan frame but electric so very similar size wise. The boot is massive. And the pro version has an excellent range

Volvo door trim is different between different specs.

I love XC60s. You need a decent spec, like the R-Design.

Audi Q5 here . Absolutely love it .

Fair I haven’t driven an RZ but I have owned an RX and NX and they both had awful turning circles.

Which one has the biggest boot I wonder ?

Not in the same financial league but we-are getting an Omoda 5 Noble SUV in 2 weeks - the car’s interior has that of an upmarket brand with all mod cons - very sporty seats Sony sound system - you will have plenty of change left if you have that budget!

I’ve seen one of these in a carpark. It looked beautiful. What do they cost? Let us know how you get on with it please is it all electric?

Nissan quasquai hybrid I’m completely smitten. It’s my friends lease car that I’ve been driving for a month. Just love it ! 360 Cameras for parking, bleeps and danger lights at me if close to other cars or people. Smooth lovely drive, self drive, self parks, quiet, just awesome. Driving is not so stressful and tiring anymore cos of all the things it does.
