Need help to decide on a new car

I need a car and I have been looking at either a second hand newish range rover or a Q2 Audi. My needs are that I want to sit up high up and my husband is a farmer so I am often meeting him in the middle of nowhere driving on random fields. I often drive rural roads but I do not drive many miles as I work from home. I would prefer diesel and automatic if possible but struggling to decide. I am open to ideas

There’s a big difference between a Range Rover and a Q2, the latter are pretty small.

New Range Rovers are notoriously unreliable and cost a fortune to maintain.

Have you thought about a Skoda SUV? They’re absolute tanks.

Pickup truck, get your husband to get the vat relief and you get cheap commercial rates

Range rover a definite no ... unreliable in the extreme. Only an idiot would buy one.
We bought c300e Mercedes, very happy, apart from the exorbitant car tax.

Don't buy a Range Rover unless you want to spend a lot of time with it in the garage. My boss has one and one of my colleagues jokes that he drives around with the AA following him. They are also difficult to insure.
I have a Skoda Karoq and I love it. There are diesel and automatic options available. It has a high driving position and I have had 3 adults comfortably in the back.
