Caring for elderly relatives? Supercarers can help

Carers Allowance & New Job Question

I wonder if anyone can help. I started a new job on Monday after having been out of work full-time caring since 2024. I updated carers allowance with my job/wage information yesterday. My earnings every week will be £161 - therefore under the threshold. However, after I submitted the change it said I need to send in (by post!) payslips. I won’t get my first wage/payslip until next Thursday (3rd July) so does this mean my CA is going to stop until they receive proof that my earnings are below the threshold? Must admit I am panicking now as every single penny is accounted for and I assumed that as my wages are low, it wouldn’t stop the CA.
Does anyone have any experience of this? Thanks in advance.
