I hope I’m posting in the right place.

I am torn in trying to give counsel to my sister about a matter, but finding it so hard as she is so wedded to her view of the situation. She is completely raging and highly paranoid towards our mum, and it so exhausting having to deal with it all.

They are both having relationship counselling at the moment, but am worried that the counsellor is colluding with my sister and mum ends up always being the ‘bad guy’; the focus is so much of my sisters, wants, needs, wishes, she doesn’t realise that people feel completely steam-rollers by her.

Sorry if this is sounding very cryptic! It’s a long-running and complex dynamic. Am hoping there are others on here that can relate?

How do you know your mum isn’t the ‘bad guy’
