Carers allowance & childcare

has anyone been awarded carers allowance and is also able to claim tax free childcare and the full free hours for free childcare?

I’ve read the guidance online but wanted to see if anyone is doing this and if there’s anything I should be aware of?

also, any idea how long it takes to apply and be awarded carers allowance? Thanks

Hi, I've hopped on mumsnet to find the exact same answer to this question! I've seen a few things online but got the impression that you need to earn around £195 a week to qualify for the 30 hours childcare but not earn more than that otherwise you won't get carers. Is this what you found out? P x
