Unsure on duties as paid support worker

I work as a support worker for a lady with epilepsy. I have recently been having problems walking far due to arthritis in my knees & feet. The lady I look after has a big dog & expects me to walk it in a morning either with or without her depending on whether she feels like coming. Then in the afternoon we usually walk around the shops & supermarkets. I am on my feet from 10 am until 5.30 & I am finding it hard. When I asked her about cutting down the walking she doesn't listen. I have never been given a job description despite asking for one. I'm at my wits end as to what to do. I am being made to feel like if I can't do the walking then I should leave. Could anyone advise.

Are you employed directly by her? Or self employed? Or employed by an agency?
