Waiting time for carers

Hi can anyone who has applied for carers recently let me know how long the waiting time is? I know it varys just wanting a rough timescale, I have no income apart from dla and uc

If you are on UC, the CA will be deducted from it. If they backdate your claim and you end up with a lump sum, you will end up owing and paying back. Have you told UC you have put a CA claim in?

Hi yes I have and I am aware of this I'm doing it more due to being paid weekly and higher NI contributions
