Caring for elderly relatives? Supercarers can help

Elderly care at home in Scotland...

I have an elderly relative currently in hospital. She has been fit for discharge for several weeks now, however can't be discharged until her care at home package is put back in place (she had care at home pre-admission, however they don't pause packages, they cancel them!).
She had visits from two carers for 30 minutes four times daily, and she's returning to the same package. She's in Scotland, is there anyone with knowledge who could give a rough idea of wait times?
Care at home are refusing to give us even an estimate. Her mood is getting lower and lower - it's a heart breaking (and inhumane, frankly 🤬) circumstance.

In my experience calling and reminding them that the person is being held in hospital does speed things up. Our council is incredibly disorganised with this stuff. The times of care we got were not great but it was also 4 visits a day and the times then shifted when more appropriate ones became available.

I’m sorry you and the person are going through this. It’s a nightmare.
