Caring for elderly relatives? Supercarers can help

Is it a good idea for an elderly (91yo) person in the early stages of dementia to be uprooted yet again to live in Spain for 2 months?

Actually, I think it isn't but some of my in-laws' family think this is a better option than considering residential care.

I don't think it's fair for her or for my MIL who will have to look after her without any backup of respite care or family network.

Could SS prevent her from travelling?

MP- I agree. I've no right really to have an opinion as we've not got the responsibility of caring for her.

Frustrating for my DH though.
