Feeling Guilty and burned out

My dad in nursing care for dementia and my mam visits him daily. Myself and my sibling have getting into a routine of taking her there and picking her up every day but this is becoming really stressful as we cannot make any plans during these times. It also can take up to an hour for her to leave if my dad is anxious. She only lives 2 streets away but has mobility issues and has to get taxi if we cant come. It is feeling like a burden if I just want to go straight home from work. We visit 3 times a week around work and home life but the guilt is taking over! I am also living in temp accommodation while getting renovations so that is taking up a lot of my time and have the massive task of redecoration and cleaning coming up. AITA for missing days?

Can you organise a taxi firm to take her? Sometimes you can negotiate cost if it's a regular fare.
