Universal credit when part own a house?

Hiya. I bought a house with my ex for our disabled child but split up 2 years ago.

We remortgaged and changed the % to which we both own the house.

I want to rent on my own closer to my sons school and his dad will stay in the house.

I have my UC appointment next Wednesday. If the house is sold I wouldn't recieve more than 16k. I think 10 based on the % I own Verses my sons dad.

And also any asset in the house I am writing into trust for my disabled son

Will they say no to Universal credit? I work PT and recieve DLA and carers allowance. Thanks
