Hi where did everyone start their careers from and how are you planning to achieve or advance? So for me I did my GCSE’s got a Grade C in maths then everything else below the passable “C” mark. From there I did some work experience in a veterinary practice where everyone ignored me and I was treated like wall paper. I then did some work experience at a dog rehoming centre where you had to tick off when each job had been done such as name of dog, walk/ feed ect and you put a tick next to it if that task has been completed. Then someone experienced would come along rub all the ticks off you’ve done because your inexperience and do it all themselves. From there I had paid employment milking on a farm for around 5 years. I stopped and had my 3 children. Currently primary school age where 2 have SEN needs.
I would love to start a career in veterinary when my children are more self independent.
