Hi everyone I have my first shift as a HCA today in a local care home through an agency. I've done my training etc but I'm just very anxious about what is going to happen. Any advice or tips would be appreciated!!

I imagine it's the back shift?
2-10 ish?

You arrive, get the handover, do whatever afternoon activity is, help with toiletint, then serving tea and changing and washing residents for bed.

Have you done his before?

Hi thanks for your reply. I've done a few shifts years ago but nothing since due to falling pregnant! Very very nervous
