does everybody posting in carers know about carers uk?

they are a national charity providing help annd support (and often local groups) to carers: who are people who lokk after frail, elderly, ill or diabled people and who are employed to do so. It usually means friends, relatives, partners/spouse and can include neighbours too

yup have had their leaflets through my door etc, but their meetings run at school run times here.

well you can get loads of info from the website and if you'd like to go to a local meeting they may be able to fix one up sometimes at a different time. Might be worth contacting them.

ska i dont see the point honestly as these websites just explain to us our rights as a carer

our rights are completely different to what we get as alot of us most know

but the local authorities are shite and wont fund nothing

so what is the point of just getting angry at why are we are just so worthless iykwim

they wouldnt be able to help us in getting me exytra time off as our carers have to be specially trained
