Britax Duo plus - tall 3yo

DD is just 2 and has been in the Britax Duo Plus for a couple of years. Weight-wise she's 15kg so within the max 18kg weight recommended for this car seat, and right at the bottom of the next seat up. She still falls asleep in in the car so I like how much support this seat gives her. BUT, her head is now right at the top of the seat - is there any height recommendation for seats or is it just weight? Britax website just seems to mention weight.

The Britax height recommendation is that the seat can be used until the upper lever of the shell is level with the height of the childs eyes.

my son who is 2 1/2 but tall and well built is 17kg but struggles to fit in his britax too..he likes to use his sisters high back booster seat but when he falls asleep he slouches forward and is not really comfortable on long journeys..any other suggestions as i`d like him still to be in a 3 point seat[safety aspect ] but with more room

Have a look at the Kiddy Comfort Pro. My son is 17kg and is 2 and 3 months so is likely to hit the weight restriction for current car seat (maxi cosi tobi) by the time he's two and a half. But he seems way too little to be in a high back booster designed for the 4 plus market (the fact it's only restrained by an adult seat belt worries me with regards to internal injuries if there was a crash).
